MEET THE COACH

Hey, I’m Justin – your online personal trainer for Ultimate Frisbee! I fell in love with this sport during college, and have immersed myself in all things Ultimate ever since.

I've spent countless hours learning the best ways to improve my own speed, vertical jump, and agility. From researching the biomechanics of movement to studying the best players in the game, I've done it all to try to improve. 

 

However, I know what wasted time feels like. After spending years recovering from needless injuries and trying out random workouts, it wasn’t until I worked with a coach that I really started to see serious results.

 

Now, I want to use that knowledge to help you. I've created an individualized strength & conditioning coaching process specifically designed to transform your athleticism and take your Ultimate Frisbee game to the next level.

How It Works

Step 1

New Client Intro Call

In a free (no strings attached) call, we’ll see what you’re looking for in a trainer and whether we’d be a good fit. 

 

During this call we will:

  • Understand your short and long-term goals for your Ultimate career. We dive into your current level, fitness experience, injury history, etc.

  • Analyze your game footage and identify how we can improve your athleticism.

  • Layout a personal roadmap toward improving your performance on the field. We’ll be extra specific about the types of cuts, jumps, and maneuvers you want to work on.

Step 2

Individualized Ultimate Frisbee Training Program

This isn’t a cookie-cutter workout template. This is personalized to suit your goals.

 

  • Train specifically for different times of the year: Offseason, Preseason, and In-Season

  • Programs are designed to mesh perfectly with practice and game schedules. Maximize your performance while keeping you feeling fresh.

  • Workouts are delivered through our custom coaching app. Instructional videos, coaching notes, sets/reps/weight, and progress tracking data are all included. We work with what equipment you have, what exercises you like and work around the ones you hate.

  • Nutrition guidance to sustain performance 

  • Sleep and Recovery Protocols to maximize performance. Your training is closely monitored and driven by the results we see.

  • Your performance trends dictate how we evolve your program to tune your strengths and fill in the gaps in your limitations

After re-aggravating my patella tendinitis, I wanted to immediately seek help. I knew that the injury was caused by weakness in certain parts of my lower body but was unsure on how to build them up. I was injured & out of shape going into 2022 GGM Nationals. I vowed to not go through that again in 2023. I started the year with strength classes at a gym which helped build a general base but wasn't helping with certain issues I was having. What is
Ultimate
Frisbee?

Ultimate Frisbee is an exciting non-contact sport that’s taken the world by storm. Growing from a relaxed sport with very little equipment needed, it has now attracted top level athletes and is played competitively all over the world.

 

The aim of the game is to pass and catch the disc in the end-zone, as you move up the field. It requires lightning-fast reflexes, agility, stamina – and not to mention speed.
